Microdosing Your Aliveness + Aging Strong with Nicole Sciacca

In this episode, I sit down with Nicole Sciacca — yoga teacher, mobility specialist, former professional dancer, and creator of Sweat and Stillness — for one of the most alive conversations I've had on this show.

Nicole's story begins in Alabama at the age of two, ends up in Los Angeles chasing Solid Gold-level dreams, and takes a dramatic pivot when a midnight rehearsal for a free job leaves her collapsed on the floor with three herniated discs and a surgeon telling her she has the spine of a fragile 55-year-old man.

She decided he was wrong. And then she spent the next 25 years proving it.

Today Nicole teaches a movement philosophy rooted in a simple but profound truth: you keep what you repeat. Through her on-demand platform, monthly groups, and retreats, she helps women in every life chapter — injury, motherhood, divorce, loss, aging — stop abandoning themselves and come back to the version of themselves they've always been.

We talk about what it means to metabolize emotion through movement, why stillness is the most overlooked mobility practice, the losses that cracked her world open, and what it looks like to microcode aliveness back into a life that has gone quiet.
